In the summer of 1964, as the Beatles set out on their world tour, Woody Herman visited the U.K. The band featured Woody Herman (clarinet, alto sax and vocals), Paul Fontaine, Billy Hunt, Bill Chase, Danny Nolan, Gerald Lamy (trumpets), Phil Wilson, Henry Southall, Kenny Wenzel (trombones), Sal Nistico, Gary Kelin, Joe Romano, Tom Anastas (saxophones), Nat Pierce (piano), Chuck Andrus (bass) and Jake Hanna (drums).
