Grammy nominated writer, Kevin Savigar was born and raised in London and resides in Los Angeles. He is an acclaimed session keyboardist, producer, songwriter and composer, and has contributed to many recordings by a wide range of artists including Rod Stewart, Bob Dylan, George Harrison, John Mellencamp, Pat Benatar, Marilyn Manson, Willie Nelson, Randy Newman, Sinead O'Connor and Peter Frampton along with many others.

He has won 4 ASCAP awards for his songs along with many platinum and gold RIAA awards for sales totaling over 40 million records. Some of his songs include "Forever Young," "Young Turks," "Passion," "Tonite I'm Yours," "Every Beat Of Mt Hear" (Rod Stewart), "Hold On" (Jamie Walters), "Cinderella" (Cheetah Girls), "No Mistakes" (Patty Smyth), "Not Going Down," (Jo Dee Messina), and the number 1 record on the Billboard Hot Country charts "Nothing To Lose" (Josh Gracin). His songs have also been featured in many major motion pictures, national commercials and TV shows over the years.

He is currently working on several projects in Los Angeles and writing songs with some of the leading songwriters in the music industry for records, film and television.

Kevin Savigar & Rod Stewart Team Up for the First Pop Rock Album in Over a Decade

Award-winning producer, songwriter and composer, Kevin Savigar co-produced, mixed and engineered Rod's first pop/rock alvum in over 10 years. Kevin co-wrote 6 songs including the title track of Time out May 7th on Capitol Records.

The first UK single from Time, "It's Over," was personally chosen by BBC's Chris Evans to debut with his 12 million listeners on The Chris Evans Breakfast Show. "Finest Woman" airs on US Rock radio in early April followed by "Can't Stop Me Now," as the second single.

Savigar was recently nominated for the Juno award "International Album Of The Year" for his work on Rod Stewart's double platinum holiday release, Merry Christmas, Baby(Verve/Universal) and was recently recognized in Billboard's Top 100 American Idol Songsfeature for writing country superstar Josh Gracin's #1 Billboard Country chart hit, "Nothin' To Lose."

He wrote "Losing You" and "How I Get To Where I'm Going" to appear on London rockers, Charming Liars upcoming release out September 2013 on Capitol Records.
