Freda Payne, best known for her 1970 R&B crossover smash hit “Band of Gold,” is a jazz singer in the beautiful tradition of Nancy Wilson. Here she sings “Save Your Love for Me” plus other enthralling selections with a trio featuring Dean Shelly Berg on piano.
