Theater Gonzaguinha - BeBossa and Tunai: full of the Circuit Bossa Nova

The next stop on the circuit Bossa Nova, designed by the city of Rio de Janeiro / Brazil, is the Teatro Gonzaguinha, with the meeting of the vocal sextet bebossa and singer / songwriter Tunai, author of hits like "As aparências enganam" and "Frisson" both with Sergio Natureza.

About bebossa
Keeping the good tradition of national vocal groups, such as Boca Livre, Os Cariocas, MPB4, and Quarteto Em Cy, is coming to market, the first cd of the group bebossa. Sexteto vocal, created in 2000, has as main characteristic the fact that the sounds are produced only by the voices, without any instrument, ie the chapel. Based on the repertoire of Roberto Menescal and its partners in more than 50 years in favor of Brazilian popular music, the composer joins her friend and constant partner Wanda Sá and the vocal sextet BeBossa (photo) to show "Novas Bossas ou A Galeria (do) Menescal" in allusion to the commercial center of Copacabana that bears the family name of the composer, where he also lived for some years.

Inspired by the Gallery Menescal, where the composer lived for a time, which holds much of the history of Copacabana and the characters from the source Bossa Nova, 50 years ago, Roberto Menescal teamed up again with partner Wanda Jackson, who was his student in the early bossa nova guitar, and vocal group bebossa and created the show "The New Moguls or Gallery Menescal, who will march in one of the most famous stages Rio de Janeiro, Petrobras Rival theater.

About BeBossa - Brazilian Vocal Sextet

Having as base the repertoire of Robert Menescal and its partners, in more than 50 years in favor of Brazilian popular music, the composer if joins its friend and constant partner Wanda Sá and to Bebossa sextet vocal for the new show “Bossas or Gallery (of) Menescal”, in homage to the commercial gallery of Copacabana that takes the name of the family of the composer, where it also liveed per some years.
They are in set list of the spectacle “obligator” “the Cockle-boat”, of Menescal and Boscoli, “Vacant”, of the same pair, that has 45 years launched in the musical scene the voice of Wanda Sá and pearls as “Bye Bye Brazil” (in partnership with Chico Buarque) and the recent “Agarradinhos” partnership of Menescal with Rosália de Souza, who was music heading of music launched for it in duo with Leila Pinheiro.

The intention is the pleasure reigns to sail in the repertoire of Menescal. Musics will be presented in diverse formations: Menescal and Wanda; but the Bebossa capella, Wanda and the Bebossa, Menescal and the Bebossa and all together. The spectacle had a daily in July, 3 in the Cultural Center France-Brazilian, in Rio De Janeiro, with full house.
