About BeBossa - Brazilian Vocal Sextet

Having as base the repertoire of Robert Menescal and its partners, in more than 50 years in favor of Brazilian popular music, the composer if joins its friend and constant partner Wanda Sá and to Bebossa sextet vocal for the new show “Bossas or Gallery (of) Menescal”, in homage to the commercial gallery of Copacabana that takes the name of the family of the composer, where it also liveed per some years.
They are in set list of the spectacle “obligator” “the Cockle-boat”, of Menescal and Boscoli, “Vacant”, of the same pair, that has 45 years launched in the musical scene the voice of Wanda Sá and pearls as “Bye Bye Brazil” (in partnership with Chico Buarque) and the recent “Agarradinhos” partnership of Menescal with Rosália de Souza, who was music heading of music launched for it in duo with Leila Pinheiro.

The intention is the pleasure reigns to sail in the repertoire of Menescal. Musics will be presented in diverse formations: Menescal and Wanda; but the Bebossa capella, Wanda and the Bebossa, Menescal and the Bebossa and all together. The spectacle had a daily in July, 3 in the Cultural Center France-Brazilian, in Rio De Janeiro, with full house.

About BeBossa: Keeping the tradition of good national vocal groups, as Free Mouth, the Cariocas, MPB4, and Quarteto In Cy, it is arriving at the market, the first CD of the BeBossa group. Vocal Sextet, created in year 2000, has as main characteristic the fact of the sounds to be produced only for the voices, without no instrument, that is, the chapel. The voices sound as instruments providing to the public the sensation to be hearing a band, with sounds of trumpetes, basses, guitars and percussions, but everything inside of a climate that could be characterized as cool, well New Bossa.
The BeBossa is formed by Marcela Velon, Carol Assad, Cissa de Luna, Cauê Nardi, Matias Corrêa and Zeca Rodrigues (musical direction and arrangements). For the repertoire of the CD, of ten bands, musics had been scaled as Pra that to argue with madame (Janet de Almeida and Haroldo Barbosa), Luiza (Tone Jobim), Samba of summer (Landmarks Valle and Pablo Sergio Valle) and Alone had of being with you (Tone Jobim and Aloysio de Oliveira)
