Jazz Flamenco - Avaiable Artists

DIEZ DE PACO (Carles Benavent-Chano Domínguez, Tino Di Geraldo, Jorge Pardo y La Chonchi)
More than a decade after its publication, the creators of the historical record "Diez de Paco", have decided to update it with the staging of this project in tribute to Paco de Lucia.

JORGE PARDO – “Vientos Flamencos”
With this name was published in 2007 the most flamenco of the work of Pardo and has won important awards and recognition. In 2009 appears the second volume of this project, which the flutist and saxophonist presents live surrounded by a cast of leading figures of this art, including flamenco guitar, singing, dancing and flamenco percussion..

Carles BENAVENT-Tino DI GERALDO-Jorge PARDO
The three masters of jazz, flamenco and fusion, have a new studio album entitled Sin Precedentes, that finally has released the Nuevos Medios label in 2009.

After having released two excellent albums (Directo and Quid Pro Quo) and numerous concerts inside and outside Spain, this unique trio has just released their third album with the title 3DD'3 and a DVD that contains one of their live concerts.
CHANO DOMÍNGUEZ
Chano Dominguez is one of the leading musicians of the genre known as flamenco-jazz. This pianist from Cadiz has an extensive and award winning music career, with several projects of particular importance and has collaborated with many renowned musicians from various musical genres.

RAFAEL RIQUENI
The master of the guitar, which has opened new paths for flamenco, preparing new projects and the return to the recording studios, to deliver a new album by 2010.

PEDRO OJESTO
Pianist and composer from Madrid long experienced in the both jazz and flamenco. He plays in trio format with Jose Miguel Garzón (bass) and Fernando Favier (drums), quartet with saxophonist Roman Filiú or quintet with the flamenco guitarist David Cerreduela.
GUILLERMO McGILL
Drummer, percussionist and composer of jazz training, which proved perfectly known flamenco rhythms to give a very personal view of the meeting points. He has just released his new work "Tan Cerca"" which explores the fusion of rhythms with great musicians from both styles.

ELENA ANDÚJAR
The singer and dancer from Seville that surprised the flamenco world with her first solo album, has collaborated with major artists of different styles. Meanwhile she continues her performances with great success inside and outside Spain.

ANDRÉS OLAEGUI
Founder of the legendary group "Guadalquivir"in the 70s, he is an essential figure in Spanish music. His second solo album entitled "Fenix" was released in 2008 and includes new compositions based on flamenco rhythms, traditional themes of flamenco with jazz arrangements and some songs from the repertoire of Guadalquivir, now with singing.
