Jazz Accordionist, Arranger, Composer, and Band Leader Luis Espindola was born in Cuba, but soon after established residence with his family in beloved Puerto Rico. After developing an interest for the accordion at a very young age, Espindola began his studies under the guidance and supervision of Maestro George Kudirka. It was hearing Argentinean born Jazz Pianist, Maestro Atilio Bruni, which aided in Luis Espindola's determined development of skill and technique in the jazz field. His devotion led him to study the Berklee College of Music Arranging, Orchestration and Modern Harmony Courses.
Years later, he became a renowned Arranger, Composer, Director and Jazz Musician throughout Puerto Rico. Espindola is well known for playing complex poly chordal tone structures and by incorporating orchestral approach techniques for Mechanical Voicings, making him unique in achieving such a distinctive jazz sound. He has enjoyed a successful career traveling throughout Europe, the Middle East, South America, United States and The Caribbean performing to Jazz lovers and newcomers alike. "Maestro" Espindola has several studio work recordings with a number of artists. He has recorded multiple sessions with the late sax virtuoso Jesus Caunedo. He currently resides in the beautiful city of Miami where he is helping to enhance the listening ears of many in the wonderful musical world of Jazz.
