Bucharest Cultural Centre (ARCUB) brings back quality music to Bucharest starting on Friday, June 20 at 6:30 pm through the most expected festival of the month, Bucharest Music Film Festival, reports Hotnews. The event will take place in George Enescu Plaza near the Romanian Athenaeum between 20 and 29. Reaching its 9th edition, the festival provides the music aficionados a newer, more attractive concept and a diversified musical program. If the classical music was the major pillar in the past years, as of 2014, the stage in front of the Romanian Athenaeum will host a number of artists playing some classical masterpieces in a contemporary style. For the first time, famous names of the rock, folk or jazz music will go up on the stage along renowned conductors or orchestras.
This year’s edition major ensembles will hold concerts such as Mercury Quartet, the National Radio Orchestra, the Royal Camerata, the George Enescu Philharmonic, Bucharest Jazz Orchestra, Spirit of Vienna Orchestra, Symphactory Orchestra, Romanian Radio Brass Quintet, Klasikvm Ensemble, SonoMania, Momentum Orchestra, the quartets Capriccio, Subito, Artmusik, the vocal group Acapella and Duo Cello Jaya.
