I write to alert you to the WQXR's "Bach 360" festival and the performances by jazz artists Ethan Iverson (piano) and Dave Douglas (trumpet) as part of two live events we are hosting. As a companion to the radio festival, we will also present two live events inviting audiences to experience Bach’s works in the intimate setting of the station’s event venue, The Greene Space.
Saturday, March 23 at 7pm and 9pm: “Bach Lounge”
Join leading musicians from across the musical spectrum as they share their favorite Bach. Period instrument performances, jazz interpretations, and contemporary visions mingle in the Bach Lounge. Experience the living, breathing Bach in a one-of-a-kind setting. Tickets and a live video webcast of these events will be available at www.thegreenespace.org.
