It used to be that the Burlington Discover Jazz Festival withheld information about all its concerts until making its splashy announcement a couple of months before the big event. Now, in this era where jazz fans can easily find out their favorite musicians’ touring schedules online, the festival has started parsing out details in the weeks leading up to the announcement, which serves to generate some buzz and even a few ticket sales in advance.
