DOUG CARN/JEAN CARNE: REVELATION/REUNION > Buy Tickets
A reunion tour for two legends of 70's soul and jazz: Pianist, composer and sublime arranger Carn first made his name with a series of remarkable albums for legendary '70s jazz label Black Jazz. Mixing the spiritual jazz of John Coltrane and Pharoah Sanders with a post Blaxploitation fusion vibe, Carn's albums featured amazing horns and deft vocal arrangements (with new lyrics by Carn) of jazz classics such as Infant Eyes, Revelation and Little B's Poem winning him a huge cult following amongst the acid-jazz crowd. The vocalist of course was his then-wife Jean Carne, who would enjoy huge hits with Earth Wind & Fire and her very own legendary 70s soul anthem "Don't Let It Go To Your Head". Back together for a very special reunion tour expect soulful, enthralling jazz from two 70s jazz and soul masters.
