Church Organ concert in Luxembourg
Barbara's first concert of the year took place on January 16th in Mondercange/Luxembourg. Three video cameras were installed to transmit Barbara's performance on a big screen in the church hall. Barbara had been in Luxembourg in 2006 to play with the "Opus 78" Big Band. Saxophonist Laurent Pierre from this band had suggested this concert and happily joined in for the encore "Bebabaloo". California in April
It seems that the Barbara Dennerlein fan group in America is continuously rising. In 2010 she has been again in the Downbeat readers poll. We are happy to find more and more entries in the homepage guest book from USA and all over the world. For all people in and near California we have the news that Barbara Dennerlein will perform in Santa Cruz at the Kuumbwa Jazz Center and at the San Francisco Jazz Festival in April. There the organist will meet Dr. Lonnie Smith for a double concert.

During her 2008 USA tour Barbara has been in San Diego and played the monumental Spreckels Organ at Balboa Park. There she met Dr. Carol Williams, the Artistic Director of the Spreckels Organ Society. Hammond Organ Radio
The new "Hammond Organ Radio" website has quickly grown since it's been established about three months ago. Jay Terleski and Steven Sorensen feature music that celebrates the Hammond and Leslie sound.
