Rebeca Vallim has one of the most beautiful voices in all London. She has enchanted Guanabara, Pizza on the Park, Havana, Pizza on the Park, Queen Elizabeth Hall, Barbican and others with her voice and charm for over 2 years and now she is back with her new band.
The band is leading by arranger and drummer Uira Cairo from Salvador who has worked with artists like Jeronimo and other top Brazilian artists. ..boards is Charlie Lewis who has played with a Brazilian band called Mandinga, on the guitar Gustavo Marques who grew up surrounded by music in his home in Sao Paulo, on bass is Matheus Nova who has worked with Ed Mota, Jazzinho, Alcione, Simoninha and many others.
Rebeca will be singing songs from the greatest Brazilian composers like Carlinhos Brown, Jorge Ben Jor, Lenine, Cassia Eller and many more like Amy Winehouse, Lenny Kravitz, Beatles, Janis Joplin and Bob Marley, of course with the special Brazilian twist provided by the vibrant, talented band and unmistakable performance of Rebeca Vallim.
