"Mosaic Jazz Trio" presents debut album in Chile


The band will tour Catalan Chilean Santiago and Valparaiso during November to show their first studio work: his album "Promenade", recorded under the wing of Spanish stamp Wanderer 57. Mosaic Jazz Trio visit our country for the first time this November to present his new album live, "Promenade", co-Chilean-Spanish production in 2009 won the prize Fondart Council for Culture and the Arts for recording and distribution .

The group, consisting of the pianist and composer Chilean Matias Muñoz, Nuria Catalan Perich drummer and the bassist, also Catalan, Pau Lligadas-born in Barcelona, initially to play jazz standards and create original compositions from his own cultural fusion . Their work resulted in the recording of the album "Promenade", a wager on the Jazz classic line, however, mix and play with other genres to create a new musical identity.

The trio's tour begins next Wednesday, 11 November in the Catalan Center, Santiago; will walk after the Jazz Club (12 Nov., Stgo.) Extension Center will travel to the National Council for Culture and the Arts ( 13. Nov., Valparaiso) and Piedra Feliz (14 Nov., Valparaiso) will return to the capital to perform at the Modern School of Music (16 Nov.) and will culminate with presentations Thelonius (18 and 19 Nov.)
