In 1989 an unexpected introduction changed Angela Hagenbach's life. She met the music of Sarah Vaughan, out of the blue... on a friend's tape deck ... and the timing could not have been better. In fact, this serendipitous introduction fanned her desire to focus on music full time. Only a few years before, you might have found this Kansas City native working in the fashion capitals of the world, building a successful career as a professional model.
In 1986 Angela returned to her hometown and began to pursue another lifelong interest - music. She joined a gospel choir and quickly became a featured soloist. Still, jazz wasn't on her agenda, until she heard Sarah singing "Black Coffee." From that point on. Angela has been determined to make the most of her musical talents, singing jazz in live performances and on recordings for her own label, Amazon Records.
Some special appearances include: National Anthem for Kansas City Royals; Kansas City's Great Female Vocalist Series; Oscar Night at the Midland; Kimball Hall Concert Series, Lincoln, Nebraska; and Brownville Concert Series, televised for national distribution, from Brownville, Nebraska.
