Fernanda Wedge was born in a family of musicians. Son of the Telma singer Coast and niece of the Sueli composer Coast, the miner of Juiz De Fora changed for Rio De Janeiro when child. In 1997, she made its first presentation in the wonderful city. Two years later turnê was finishing its, interpreting songs of one of the masters of the samba, Nelson Cavaquinho.
In 2000, it was changed for Clevelan, in Ohio, where it liveed during 2 years. The invitation of the musician Kip Reed, was part of the band Brazil Group. With Brazilian music in its repertoire, the group if presented in festivals as the Blossom Summer Festival, Shaker Square, Latin Festival in the “Rock and Roll hall of fame” and Fat Blue.
In return to Brazil, it launched the record the time and the place. In 2004, it recorded its as record, Two Hearts, with songs of Johnny Alf and Sueli Coast and, later, making its first turnê in Canada. In the year where Tone Jobim would complete 80 years, the singer recorded the Zíngaro record of voice and violão, to the side of the Zé musician Carlos, interpreting the partnerships of Tone Jobim and Chico Buarque.
