DeJohnette’s drumming has graced recordings from the likes of Miles Davis, Charles Lloyd, Keith Jarrett, Pat Metheney and John Scofield, while UK-based saxophonist Surman is a true leader in the jazz scene as a well respected international figure. Having previously recorded a duet album, 1981’s Amazing Adventures of Simon Simon, these two contemporary jazz legends re-unite for two nights in the club, offering an unparalleled pan-Atlantic perspective on modern music.
