Uptime Jazz Quartet with Geordie Frazer

The Uptime Jazz Quartet with Geordie Frazer is composed of veteran players, three of which are San Francisco natives. Bass player Mario Grillo, a graduate of The Players School of Music in Florida, has years of experience playing the many venues for music in San Francisco.
Drummer Steve Mathews is the drummer for the annual San Francisco presentation of "Jesus Christ Superstar".
Sax player Geordie Frazer has been a professional since the late 70's and has performed with the San Francisco Symphony, the Oakland Symphony, the San Jose Symphony, and many others throughout the state. Additionally, he has played in numerous theatre orchestras, including the Golden Gate, Orpheum, and Curran in the city. He has also toured the United States with the Andrew Lloyd Weber National tour of "Cats".
Pianist Mitchell Schrift has been performing jazz professionally since 1982 in the Bay Area and in Portland, Oregon. He has studied with the great Pianist Dick Hindman and performed with Congolese artist Samba Ngo and the Nigerian band Kosono, as well as with numerous Latin and Caribbean bands.
We have come together to play the music we respect, love, and genuinely desire to play-Jazz
