The Komeda Project live at the Sydney International Women's Jazz Festival

Friday 17 April 2015 8:05PM
The Komeda Project is pianist Andrea Keller and trumpeter Miroslav Bukovsky's response to the jazz music and film scores of the late Polish composer Krzysztof Komeda. The two performers took turns re-interpreting some of Komeda's best-known works, including themes from Roman Polanski films Rosemary's Baby and Knife In The Water, and co-led a band of some of Australia's most respected contemporary musicians - Erkki Veltheim on violin, Andrew Robson on alto saxophone, James Greening on trombone, Ben Hauptmann on guitar, Jonathan Zwartz on double bass and Evan Mannell on drums.

This performance of The Komeda Project took place Foundry 616 for the 2014 Sydney International Women's Jazz Festival, recorded by RN's live music team.
