EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) -- The sounds of music are filling the streets of downtown Eau Claire this weekend as part of the city's Jazz Festival.
The event features student performances, headliner concerts, and other jazz performances.
Downtown Eau Claire is also transformed to re-create New York City's 52nd Street, with local and national artists performing throughout the city.
"Here on Barstow Street we have 12 venues, we have 36 bands, and we're trying to duplicate 52nd Street from New York City back in the forties, when that was the hot jazz band," said John Genskow, the 52nd Street Event coordinator.
