On Ronnie Scott's, Italian alto saxophonist Rosario playes with his quartet largely in the hard-swinging post-Coltrane tradition. Appearing on the same bill will be China Moses in a London debut for the US singer who happens to be jazz vocal great Dee Dee Bridgewater’s daughter

China Moses....
Even though I come from an artistic background… My wonderful mother is no other than Dee Dee Bridgewater and my loving father, theatre and film director Gilbert Moses (Willie Dynamite, Roots)…
I used to think I couldn't sing and in that long period of doubt I managed to put out 2 albums on Virgin France imprint Source Records.
I used to think the music I did wasn't cool enough and then managed to gather enough courage to put out my 3rd album on Virgin France directly.
I got bored of the french R'n B world so I went to work with an italien band named Gabin for their 2nd album, "Mr. Freedom". At the same time I wrote articles for the French version of "The Source" magazine and became a TV presenter and music journalist for MTV France, sometimes working for MTV Base Africa.
I got fed up with people always believing that you have to sell before you tour and I produced my first live CD/DVD Album that will come out hopefully this year. I'm looking for small labels, bookers, agents that would be interested.
China Moses Live at the Réservoir : Never Enough Love DVD/CD Live Directed by Harold Chlewicki and mixed by Bruno Sourice
I deceided to get off my ass and start production four a 4th album in English with my favorite guys, my band of course, Dj Mehdi, Karriem Riggins, Wayne Beckford, The Ingorants, La Caution, and who ever I might meet along the way.
And at the same time , start a new French album, I just can't seem to let it go!
I've worked with amazing people like Bob Power, Gordon Cyrus, DJ Cam, Martin Rappeneau, Camille, KReen, Me'shell, Guru, Sinclair, Fabe, 113, Tak Farinas, Neg Marrons, DJ Poska, Sté Strausz, Diam's, Jean-Louis Aubert, Rififi, Jean Claude Ghrenassia, and Jalane.
And I 'm sure and hope I will work with more. So I will spare you the great sensitive and dedicated artist speech. I love music more than my man , that is if I had on one, I wanna cross people paths by way of stange, I want to give more than receive, on that search for that moment where you can't deny the beat... If you want to read articles and stuff on my petit persona check out my fan site www.mllechina.net. Other than that. Have a nice life ,a lot of good sex, great understanding friends, knowledge of self and a good listen...
