The line-up for the 34th Annual Playboy Jazz Festival in co-operation with the L.A.Philharmonic Association,was announced at a Press Conference on the grounds of the Playboy Mansion,February 16th,2012. The eagerly anticipated announcement is welcome news for music aficionados who attend the festival each year.An added treat is the announcement that the festival will return to the popular Father’s Day Weekend,June 16th & 17th,2012.
The LAUSD Beyond The Bell Jazz Combo directed by Tony White and J.B.Dyas provided some top rated entertainment for the invited guest arriving to the canopied area of the Playboy Mansion.These talented students played “Song For My Father,” “Blue Bossa,” “Tenor Madness,” “Cantaloupe Island,” and “Watermelon Man.” The group consisted of Anthony Lucca-keyboards, Raraham Peyda-guitar,Grady Fowler-bass,McKela Sessions-drums, Mario Menendez-sax and Arturo Coronel-trumpet.
Darlene Chan of Festival West Inc., Producer of the Playboy Jazz Festivals with assistance from Bill Cosby read the line-up to the throng of invited media,industry representatives and musicians.

Special Message to All Playboy Jazz Patrons:For safety and fire regulations,the aisles and walkways of the Hollywood Bowl must be kept clear at all times.Therefore, all large containers or coolers measuring more than 15″ wide,15″ high, and 23″ long and kegs, pony kegs, and party ball of beer will not be permitted past the ticket gate.
Non-smoking Policy: The Hollywood Bowl has a no smoking policy inside the theater. Smoking will be permitted only outside the theater seating area on the Bowl grounds.
