“As a child I had music as part of my life, but one day a melody coming from a procession passing along the street just in front of my house got me, and suddenly I was irresistibly drawn to the piano, and started playing the same melody by ear.”
After that, she began performing actively in family parties with her father and sisters. Soon after, to enhance her skills, she commenced taking piano classes with well-known pianists and renowed conductors, such as Hans-Joachin Joel. The enchanting feeling and passion for the piano moved her towards another direction; she gave piano lessons for 20 years to many people. “I want to pass this magic and charming feeling to others.”
In 2001 she recorded her first CD “Plural”, performing in a duo, trio and quintet with famous Brazilians musicians.
Her most recent work is the “Piano Duo” with the former classmate, and well know pianist Carlos Roberto Oliveira, to develop a pianistic work in duet to explorer the piano also as a percussion on the strings and wood, showing the rhythmic richness of the Brazilian Popular Music.
They recorded the CD Piano Duo in Maritaca’s records in 2005 and the DVD Piano Duo in 2007.
