The guitar sophisticated Chico Pinheiro at SESC Santo André!

Guitarist, composer and arranger Chico Pinheiro, considered one of the leading figures in contemporary Brazilian music, will perform this Saturday, 07.11, 20.00, at SESC Santo André.

Chico is celebrated as an exceptional musician and composer of great originality and maturity, recognized by major names in music nationally and internationally as a new reference of Brazilian music. Since the release of their debut album, Midnight Noon (Sony 2003), the guitarist has been performing at various events and festivals in Brazil and abroad, and has shared the stage with Brad Mehldau, Nancy Wilson, Dave Holland, Speranza Spalding , among others.

Now, at 35 years, Pickering has worked with Rosa Passos, Dori e Danilo Caymmi, Chico Cesar, Cesar Camargo Mariano, Cachaíto Lopez (Buena Vista Social Club), Fleurine, Brad Mehldau, Mark Turner, Chris Potter, Eddie Gomez, Claudio Roditi , Duduka da Fonseca and its partners are frequent in their songs Chico César, Paulo Cesar Pinheiro Wisnik, Guile Wisnik and Guinga.
