Hi Claudio,
In my years as a music publicist, one of the critics I've always enjoyed hearing from is Tom Moon (I'm sure you know him.) Whether or not he's covering something I've pitched, he's always free with valuable feedback for the musicians I represent.
It was a bit of a surprise when Tom reached out to ask us to represent his music. But then it clicked: this guy knows so much about music because he himself is a highly trained musician.
Frustrated with the current state of music journalism, Tom turned back to his training and chops for solace and re-discovered his passion. The result is Ensemble Novo, an adventurous journey into Brazilian jazz stylings with a firmly Philly vibe. The band is about to drop two mini-albums, Look to the Sky (physical release: March 27, 2017) and Who Saw You When (release: May 19, 2017).
It's laid back, groovin' Brazilian tinged jazz, perfect for relaxing whilst digging the scene, whatever the scene happens to be. I have a few CDs, so if that sounds good to you check out the tunes at the link below and let me know if I should send you one!

05/19/2017
Ensemble Novo puts a playful spin on some of the world’s most welcoming music, the Brazilian popular sounds of the 60s and 70s. The Philadelphia quartet plays with samba, bossa, MPB, and other forms, bringing out their gentle, swaying complexity.
