Jazz comes alive with one of the fastest emerging contemporary jazz recording artists in recent history, multi-instrumentalist, composer and producer, Vincent Ingala. This FREE event will entice all jazz lovers to gather and enjoy a spectacular evening with saxophonist Vincent Ingala (www.vincentingala.com). Ingala has blasted into an exciting stratosphere of his own making since his 2010 critically acclaimed debut album, North End Soul. The charismatic saxophonist has been named Billboard Smooth Jazz Artist of the Year in 2012, Sirius XM Watercolors Artist of the Year in 2013, and his music is consistently found atop the most noteworthy music charts in the world, including three number one hits on the Billboard Smooth Jazz Chart, five singles in the Billboard Smooth Jazz Top 10, as well as an unprecedented 25 weeks at #1 on SmoothJazz.com’s Top 50 Independent Chart.
His recent album, 2015’s Coast To Coast, has placed Vincent Ingala back on top, with the project’s first and second singles, hitting number one on the Billboard Contemporary Jazz Chart. The music ranges from romantic and elegant, to old school and soul, the star-studded, horn-drenched new album finds Vincent performing with British jazz trombonist, Dennis Rollins, Lee Thornberg (formerly of Tower Of Power), and smooth jazz icon, Peter White.
Opening act for the show is Andrea Miller who recently opened legendary Al Jarreau at the Newport Beach Jazz Festival where she received a standing ovation. Andrea had the honor to work with David Foster, Quincy Jones and many others. In addition to performing, Andrea keeps busy recording as a session singer and her voice can be heard on recordings by Disney/Pixar, Paramount Pictures, NBC, ABC, Samsung, Warner Brothers, Delta Entertainment, and others. She writes and records her own music, as well as co-writes and co-produces.
