Letter from Sofia Rei

Dear People,

Happy new year! All the very best to you in this brand new 2016. Shine, shine, shine!

I'm happy to announce a fun January in New York with 3 concerts that reunite some of my favorite people/friends/artists. After that, I am taking a break in the Southern hemisphere to write music, read books, cook and NOT tour ;) So if you want to catch me, now is the time!

My longtime collaborator Jorge Roeder is running a great duos series at Cornelia Street Cafe, don't miss it. Our set will be opening it on Wednesday the 13th. Then, on Saturday Jan 16th, my band was invited to participate in the iconic Winter Jazz Festival for the second time. We will be part of a marathon with more than 100 amazing groups, in several venues in the Greenwich Village. You can get a ticket and see as much as you can :) Then, on Monday the 18th we will host the 4th edition of our beloved NYC South American Music Festival (NYC SAMF 2016), the only festival of its kind in the US. Presented by El Colectivo Sur and Lilihouse Agency, the 2016 edition is the strongest yet! 5 bands will play a full set and some members of El Colectivo (including myself) will be opening the evening with a few special songs in collaboration. The festival tends to be packed, so I recommend to get your tickets in advance!  All details below. Thanks for your support and hope to see you soon,

Sofia
