Producer, composer, keyboardist and vocalist, Sergio Mendes’ influence on the music industry has spanned five decades and continues to evolve through new collaborations and mediums. Sergio Mendes is the most internationally successful Brazilian artist of all time. From the mid 1960s to the late 1970s, Mendes established his legend by taking numerous albums and singles, such as “Brasil 66,” “Mas Que Nada” and “The Look of Love” to the top of the pop charts. He is a Grammy® Award winner and a two-time Latin Grammy® Award winner. This year, Mendes was Grammy® nominated for Best World Music Album, bringing his total to five Grammy® nominations and four Latin Grammy® nominations.
