NJJazzList has the venues in NJ and more

Since we rebuilt our website a couple of months ago, more venues are being adding in NJ, NY, PA and CT.  We will be adding more useful information about the venues, as well as some 'light' review information to let you know what to expect when you visit them. While our focus remains NJ, we know that out-of-state destinations like Philadelphia clubs and concert halls and popular Brooklyn hangouts are of interest so more of all that is coming. Know a good venue we missed? Please add it to help out your fellow jazz enthusiasts.

Westfield has Sweet Sounds of Jazz 2015

The Sweet Sounds Downtown Jazz Festival turns the otherwise quiet Westfield streets into a sweet summer event with live local jazz artists performing about town. It's every Tuesday night in July & August from 7pm-9pm and residents, visitors, shoppers and diners all enjoy great live music sponsored by the town and local businesses. Seating is provided at some venues, but you might want to pack a lawn chair. There are plenty of places to grab a bite to eat afterwards. Then, head over to Crossroads at 78 North Ave in nearby Garfield for the area's longest running jazz jam session to finish off your night.
