Preview: Curzon Cinema jazz weekend

As part of Curzon Cinemas' Summer Of Sound, the All That Jazz Weekender at Curzon Bloomsbury features classic jazz movies including Lift To The Scaffold and Shoot The Piano Player

The All That Jazz Weekender will take place at the Curzon Bloomsbury on 1 and 2 August. It's part of the cinema group's Summer Of Sound, a two-month long celebration of music and sound in the movies which takes place across the various Curzon venues and ends on 28 August.


Ian Haydn Smith, editor of Curzon Magazine, says "It's been great fun putting together the All That Jazz Weekend. It's full of off-beat and classic treats. We hope that audiences will get as much of a kick out of seeing these films and rare performances on the big screen as we do. The weekend is a great celebration of jazz on film."
