Clã Brazil ....

The Musical Group Clã Brazil has trampled his style in the musical heritage of "Dedé do Cantinho" by Itaporanga, paced by Baiões, xotes, Cocos and Toadas popularized by Luiz Gonzaga, Jackson do Pandeiro, Northeast Trio, Elba Ramalho, Dominguinhos, Sivuca, Marines, Maciel Melo, Pinto do Acordeon, Marcos Maia, Natércio Baby Girl, and so on.

The Clã Brazil was at the invitation of PBTUR in Lisbon (Portugal) also in Berlin, Germany, "Wassermusik" Festival, and finished in Estonia.

In Paraíba stage, the group did show up at events like the National Art Festival (Fenart), the Foundation Cultural Center of Paraiba (Funesc) in vibrant evening of "forró-pé-de-serra", the Cultural Center in João Pessoa, BR.

In December 2005, the group participated in the 8th Meeting of accordionists from Recife (PE), making the opening act for Dominguinhos, from whom he received great praise.

Crowning its excellent performance with performances in major forrozeiros stage of the country, like Campina Grande, Caruaru and Recife (PE), Natal (RN), Joao Pessoa, Guarabira and Santa Luzia, among others, in addition to national broadcasting on TV Bandeirantes and MTV, the group recorded their first live DVD, on 14 and 15 December 2005, the "Cine Bangüê" in João Pessoa, with cameos renowned artists.


According to Badu, the group's producer, "the reception has been excellent, with the general public, which sees the Clã Brazil as something new, and that rescues the best that was made popular in the northeastern Brazilian music with new arrangements and own interpretations" .

The group had its first seed at the residence of Badu himself, who always met with his wife and three daughters to play chorinhos and forrós the sound of violins, flute, guitar and percussion.

Some people who heard the playing presentations saying that this was the "Family Lima of Paraíba", referring to well-known family of national musicians. When it started to become serious, it was initially adopted the name "Badu Family" and later with the group's growth came when the Maestro Chiquito and his daughter became the Clã Brazil.

The Clã Brazil is issued musical fortune in the Northeast. Made up of seven components, the group appeared in Paraíba, it has a special feature: the main band members are women and all play more than one instrument.
