Jazz lovers should plan to be in Mt. Vernon when two renowned bands face off for Mount Vernon Music. East Texas favorite Purple Velvet Fox will share billing with the Fort Worth trio Flipside in a program titled “Jazz Double Play” on Saturday, May 30, 2015 at 7:30 p.m. in Mount Vernon Music Hall.
Tickets are $10 for MVM members, $15 for non-members, and $5 for college students with valid ID. Children's admission through high school is free. (8th grade and younger must be accompanied by an adult ticketholder.) Memberships in MVM start at $25 and are good for the entire season from June 1 through May 31.
