Emily Bear pianist & composer sings live The Girl From Ipanema

Emily Bear pianist & composer sings for the first time on TV

In his illustrious career, Quincy Jones has won a record-setting 27 Grammy awards, he's produced the best selling album of all time, Michael Jackson's Thriller, as well as working on more than 400 other albums during his career (including one with Queen Latifah!).

Quincy Jones had seen and heard it all, and has discovered tons of talented performers including his latest musical find Emily Bear, who was part of the ongoing "Quincy Jones Presents" series at Los Angeles' Broad Stage to introduce audiences to young talent.

At only 12 years old, Emily has astonishing musical talents: composing, orchestrating, and performing in a diverse collection of styles. Her upcoming album, Diversity, is produced by Quincy Jones and features her own jazz trio handpicked by Quincy, and all of the compositions are written and played by Emily.

Emily stopped by the show to do a jazzy performance of "The Girl from Ipanema" as Queen Latifah and Quincy Jones looked on in amazement. Take a look!
