The effort to put California’s Sonoma County on the map for high culture as well as viniculture will continue next season when the Joan and Sanford I. Weill Hall at the Green Music Center plans to expand its offerings of classical, jazz, pop and world-music concerts.
The 2014-15 season, which was announced Monday, will feature performances by Yefim Bronfman, Michael Feinstein, Yo-Yo Ma, Audra McDonald, Anne-Sophie Mutter and Murray Perahia, among others. The season, which opens Sept. 28, will be the first since Zarin Mehta, the former president of the New York Philharmonic, was brought on as one the center’s two executive directors.
