The walls of Symphony Space are still reverberating from the musical thunder that emanated from its stage last June 3rd when The Sidney Bechet Society presented Dan Levinson's Jam Session of the Millennium. It was such a phenomenal success that we're doing it again! Dan has assembled most of the same stellar aggregation of young talent to present an all-new program of hot, stomping jazz. These "torch bearers of traditional jazz" are actively breathing new life into this century-old music, introducing it to a new generation of avid listeners and proving that hot jazz is as captivating today as it was then.

This landmark event will feature Gordon Au's Grand St. Stompers, the Gordon Webster Band, Mona's Hot Four, and Dan Levinson's New Millennium All Stars, as well as guest vocalist Terry Wilson, culminating in a spectacular collective jam session as all the bands combine for the grand finale!
