How great was British saxophonist-flutist Tubby Hayes (1935-1973)? Here's Hayes on Jazz 625—a BBC2 TV show that aired between 1964 and 1966. The title of the live show was inspired by the BBC2's 625-lines UHF system rather than the standard 405-lines VHF system then used by BBC1 and ITV. Here's Hayes at play in two parts...
