An afternoon of jazz and big band music by notable Tucson musicians and groups is in store Saturday during the 16th annual “Musical Potpourri” concert to benefit the Tucson Interfaith HIV/AIDS Network.
The event is sponsored by Lutheran Church of the Foothills, with support from Thrivent Financial.
Performers will include Joe Bourne, who’ll sing jazz and big band tunes accompanied by drummer Pete Swan and other local jazz musicians.
The Reveille Men’s Chorus will join Bourne and the other musicians in some familiar tunes, according to a press release from TIHAN
The concert starts at 2 p.m. at Lutheran Church of the Foothills, 5102 N. Craycroft Road (at the corner of East Territory Drive and North Craycroft)
Tickets are $18 for adults and $9 for children younger than 12. They’re available through TIHAN (299-6647), the church (299-5631), or at the door. You also can buy and donate a ticket, or tickets, so people living with HIV may attend.
