Michèle Torr, whose real name is Michelle Clebert Tort ....

Michèle Torr, whose real name is Michelle Clebert Tort, was born April 7, 1947 at Pertuis in the Vaucluse (France). At age six, she participated in her first singing competition and finds great pleasure. Become a teenager, she won first prize in a radio hook that allows him to sing the first part of Jacques Brel in Avignon. This victory strengthens Michèle Torr's intention to become a singer like her idol, Edith Piaf.

In 1963, she went to Paris for an audition in a record company. The following year released his first single "It's Hard To Be 16 Years" which quickly became a hit and made Michelle Torr one of the darlings of the show "Hi Les Copains. She was voted the title and opening for artists like Johnny Hallyday and Sylvie Vartan before accessing it also as a star.
