This week's run of shows by Tom Harrell, Claire Martin and Monty Alexander has seen sell-out packed shows and excellent reviews (pending Monty, but we're sure it'll be favourable)... and into next week, is itJune already? Someone said of the rain last week "winter's coming early" – what a grim thought, though naturally we prefer to think of it as "jazz club" weather. So it is warming for our souls that we have the following coming up: Kyle Eastwood drops in for a week's residency (Last few tickets still left for the monday and tuesday nights) , master guitarist Al Di Meola drops in with his Beatles project (10/11 June) and top UK players Tony Kofi, Byron Wallen, Trevor Watkis, Larry Bartley and Rod Youngs combine for Lineage on 12th of June.
Apart from that, some great new gigs released (all on sale down the right hand column), special mention to 2 killer late shows courtesy of drummer Chris Dave and his Drumhedz (4/5 July). and if you're a night owl don't forget every day our LATE LATE SHOW (Mon-Thur @11pm and Fri/Sat @1am), or if you're looking for more looking for somewhere to take your family, don't forget out SUNDAY JAZZ LUNCHESevery Sunday.
