Dear Claudio,
“This change in my career represents coming into my own, presenting myself authentically…” – Roswitha.
Roswitha’s classical violin training, coupled with her innate jazz abilities, has earned her opportunities to play alongside artists from the Philarmonic Orchestra, to acts like Santana and Trey Songz. She’s also built a highly respected jazz profile sharing stages with such icons as Abbey Lincoln, Billy Hart, Joanne Brackeen and Butch Morris.
On her latest album, “Destiny,” Roswitha rediscovers her voice and refines it by fusing all her musical influences to create a new intrinsic sound.
The title track, “Destiny”, is a hybrid of various musical styles. On the record Roswitha utilizes jazz elements, rock leads, hip hop inspired beats, and pop-infused melodies to construct something that is authentic, and a representation of Roswitha’s roots.
