Hot Bijouxx members Kristen Jasionowski and Dallas Vietty are starting to seem like the Duchess and Duke of jazz in the Lehigh Valley. So maybe it’s only fair they get first crack at a rip-roaring, 1920s-style party at Easton's newly renovated Two Rivers Brewing Co.
The restaurant and bar aren't open yet, but Bucks County-based Hot Bijouxx and dozens of area residents will dress in period costumes today to film the band’s first music video in the historic Mount Vernon Alehouse.
For Easton residents waiting with baited breath for the brewing company to open to the public, this isn’t it. But co-owner Troy Reynard said it's a sign that the opening is coming very soon.
That the building is ready to host a large crowd is a good sign, but there are still complications in the liquor license, Reynard said.
“When we filed our application initially, we had designated the balcony as a serving area,” Reynard said. “Well, that’s not done yet, so they wouldn’t issue us the license.”
