@$:Strathmore’s Celebrating American Composers series will feature Madeleine Peyroux at 8 p.m. Friday in the Music Center, 5301 Tuckerman Lane. She will share songs from her 2011 CD “Standing on the Rooftop,” which explores genres from the jazz canon, as well as pop, country, blues and folk-tinged tunes.
