- Niu's house hot players will pay homage to the legendary American jazz musician Miles Davis with the one-off "Miles Davis Tribute Concert" which sees Russian trumpeter Rustem Galiullin playing the Miles role alongside Dan Phillips on guitar, Mauro Monti on piano, Alexander Sergeenko on bass and Chanutr Hong Techatananan on drums.
From the 1940s with Charlie Parker through albums such as Birth of the Cool, Bitches Brew and the world's most popular jazz album Kind of Blue, Miles was an innovator in five decades of jazz history.

Concert for a good cause
Aksra Theatre, Rang Nam Road
Aug 27 at 6pm
- The famous Isan percussion group, Ponglang Sa-orn, will give a concert to raise funds for the provision of medical equipment for the Police General Hospital. Entitled "Tourist Police Charity Concert", the charity performance also features the luk thung duo Kratae & Kratai.
