The world of free music suffered in a few months, the loss of some of his more creative names. All veterans of the heyday of free jazz, had in common the fact that they reedmen: on saxophone, Fred Anderson, Marion Brown and Noah Howard, on trumpet, Bill Dixon. Their deaths were concentrated between June and October 2010, all reported slightly, away from the importance that each one had for the music. Even here, their losses were glossed over. Now, a little justice to the memory of each one: In the coming days, we will give special attention to these brilliant musicians and their works.
And 2010 was not a sad exception: recent years have been very sensitive with regard to loss of relevant characters of free music. Many forgotten, others taken from the music scene for lack of options, at least these characters will always be remembered by those who understand and need from their natural artistic creations.
