Chanteuse Diaries” With Maud Hixson and Lee Engele

Join two of the Twin Cities’ top jazz vocalists, Maud Hixson and Lee Engele, for an intimate night of jazz cabaret in the Burnsville Performing Arts Center Black Box Theatre on November 12th at 7:30PM.
The show will incorporate back stories and songs to give the audience a revealing look into each singer's own extraordinary musical journey, and will include tunes from the Great American Songbook and beyond.

The show will be presented in two acts. First up will be Lee Engele, a vocalist who has been gaining more and more recent acclaim, not only performs jazz, but also has worked as a Disc Jockey, in theater, and with a number of local Big Bands. You can hear her warm and classy voice on such tunes as Frank Loesser’s “Rumble Rumble Rumble”, “The Lies of Handsome Men”, and Tony Bennett’s “When Do the Bells Ring for Me”.
