Walden School Benefitfeaturing Vocalist Hilary Kole
Hilary Kole performs at Birdland to benefit The Walden School, a summer music school and festival offering programs that emphasize creative application, specifically through music improvisation and composition. This promises to be an intimate evening of sultry jazz, mouth-watering hors d'oeuvres, scintillating conversation, and exciting door prizes, such as tickets to intriguing concerts in New York, and a weekend in the Monadnock region of New Hampshire.
Walden alumna and regular Birdland performer Kole, described in The New York Times as "a singer with a glowing voice and something to say," will be joined by longtime Walden faculty member, alumnus and pianist Bill Stevens, along with Eric Mrozkowski and Mike Holstein. Sundays, October 3 @ 5-7:30pm
