Finished my first album "White" in November 2009 with help from producer and good friend Shannon Harris. These songs are my own and my heart. You can purchase it on the link bellow. I was brought up between Bahia-Brazil and Oxford-England, creating an interesting phenomenon of cultural schizophrenia: "Bahianaoxfordiana". I've spent an incredible amount of my time in hot beaches, lovely English countryside and in planes, always missing someone or somewhere, but its installed in me a real thirst for new experiences, places and challenges.I've been singing in the shower and to circle of friends all my life and only in the last two years, after graduating and working in filmmaking, plucked up the courage to take it further. I started writing, performing and recording more regularly. The first project I ever did was with Nick Stokes and Shannon Harris, who share a passion for brazilian music. We recorded some brazilian inspired tunes, which we composed together and you can check out under "Mari" (in my top friends). I later recorded a project with the super talented guys from The Spiralist -Hari Teah and Jason King- what we did you can hear under 'Mariana & The Spiralist'. Currently I'm spreading the "White" vibes. I'd love to work with new people, do new projects in different styles, hear my voice in different contexts!
