Melissa Nadel, every lyric she writes reveals her most sincere and suppressed emotions

Influenced by a wide range of musical genres including Jazz and Pop, Melissa engages her audiences with memorable melodies and expressive lyrics all her own. Her music is genuine-it not only reflects Melissa's nature, but every lyric she writes reveals her most sincere and suppressed emotions. Writing music is Melissa's form of expression, and she writes with the intent that anyone who hears it will be able to relate in some way or another. Performing and sharing her music with others gives her a sense of fulfillment like none other. With a powerful voice, she accompanies herself with moving music that brings a unique balance to each of her songs.

With a B.A. in Music from Muhlenberg College in Allentown, PA, Melissa is going after her desire to perform-it's what she's longed to do ever since she was a little girl. Based in and around New York City, she has been keeping busy performing in the tri-state area and writing lots of new music. Most recently, Melissa has proudly released her first full record which she is thrilled about! She chose to work with a full band for this project, and it has added a whole new dynamic to her music. Her record features the legendary Charles Fambrough on bass, Mike Clark on drums, Bill O'Connell on keys, Joe Ford on sax and Bill Washer on the guitar. The album, entitled "What Matters" is now available online nationwide!
