Charles "Lolo" Bellonzi defined by the Crescent Jazz Club, as "the drummer of the legendary French jazz scene, has attended every major jazz from swing to hard bop (Dee Dee Bridgewater, Bud Powell, Dexter Gordon, Johnny Griffin, Art Farmer, Clark Terry, Chet Baker, Jacky Byard, Kai Winding, Harry Edison, Walter Bishop and Richard Galliano). He participated in the recording of nearly forty discs accompanying Martial Solal, Bill Colleman, Claude Nougaro, Sacha Distel and Tony Petrucciani.
A true legend of the drums, Charles "Lolo" Bellonzi meets Lolobo Trio for two great names in jazz and two faithful around him: Olivier Hutman piano and Luigi Trussardi on bass.
