Mariana Aydar


Mariana Aydar is the daughter of Mario Manga, member of the group Premê, and Bia Aydar, producer of various Brazilian artists including Lulu Santos and Luiz Gonzaga. In this environment, was behind the stage, slept in the dressing room and went along with the singers to the studio, learning a lot just watching them.

The musical career began in 2000. In 2004, after years of study in Brazil and the Berklee School of Music in Boston, lived in Paris for a year. He met Seu Jorge, who invited her to open shows on their European tour. Back in Brazil in 2005, started to invest in the debut album, Kavita 1, launched in September 2006.

Mariana, who studied cello, guitar and vocals, have stayed on stage with Seu Jorge, Elba Ramalho, Dominguinhos, Arnaldo Antunes, Toni Braxton, Samuel Rosa, Daniela Mercury, Sky, John Donato, and others. It is considered as part of a crop of singers on the scene of the new MPB. In April 2007, the song "Let the Summer" was called to get the soundtrack of teenage show Malhação 2007, da Rede Globo.

In August to September 2007, Mariana Aydar was indicated in Revelation VMB (Video Music Brazil), performed by MTV, In January 2008, held the first show in Salvador, Praça Tereza Batista, Pelourinho, to an audience of more than a thousand people fully involved and knowledgeable about the 'music of the singer's repertoire. The show was a partnership between the Cultural Project Pelourinho, the IPAC - SECULT with producer Chicco Bahia Assisi and Movement ChA With Culture.
